“Geoff was able to work in with my restricted deadline, and even though I was not present with Geoff for some of our meetings due to interstate work commitments, Geoff was able to make himself available online for virtual meetings to discuss my design needs. Because Geoff could translate my ideas and understand my requirements it meant I could save time by not having to be present for every aspect of the job. “Geoff’s professional manner and punctuality was a standout from other consultations from other companies. Second Nature’s experience in sandy, salty coastal environments was also extremely beneficial.

We had a limited budget after building our home and Second Nature worked with us in determining how to best use the funds available. It was great to work with people that wanted to get a beneficial outcome as much as we did, regardless of the size of the project. The turf levelling in particular was very impressive. Survey equipment and string lines were used to ensure correct falls from front to back yard drained correctly. Very happy with the real result.

From all the trades used to complete our house and land, Second Nature was the easiest contractor to deal with. Geoff was in constant contact to let us know the status of the job. We were called immediately if anything came up during the landscaping that needed our attention. Nothing was too much trouble. The site was cleaned and tools tidied away at the end of every day, which I was happy to see as we have 2 kids under 2 years old.

Our block consists mainly of beach sand, and looked pretty much like a beach after the site had been cleaned from the builders. Second Nature transformed the sand into a yard of turf, paving and garden beds that our family can now enjoy. Even our neighbours have commented on the dramatic transformation of our property. We couldn't be happier with the end result.

I was originally thinking about trying to “do” our yard myself. After talking to a few people around our area, they convinced me to give Second Nature a call. Geoff turned up at the time we agreed, was very approachable and open to all of our ideas. Time is precious to me, and there was nothing more rewarding than leaving our “Beach Looking” property for work and coming home to a professionally landscaped home. Even on tight budgets like ours, the workmanship and result surpassed our expectations. It saved me about 20 back breaking weekends compared to 3 days work with the right equipment and people for the job.”
